Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions, Inc. is seeking a GL Accountant to support the accounting team with day-to-day operations, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. The role targets early-career accountants with 1–2 years of experience and a solid GAAP foundation.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with month-end close, and help ensure data accuracy across domestic and international operations. Collaboration and attention to detail are essential for success.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting). Internship experience will be considered.

The GL Accountant supports the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting needs. This role is designed for early-career accountants with 1–2 years of experience who are eager to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. Responsibilities include preparing account reconciliations, assisting with schedules, supporting the month-end close, and ensuring financial data accuracy across domestic and international operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
• For all on -site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
• Prepare and document journal entries under supervision.
• Perform account reconciliations (e.g., cash, prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, credit cards) in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing monthly schedules to support the close process.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
• Help compile data for budget vs. actual reviews and variance analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed (invoice coding, vendor payments, customer billing).

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
