Job summary

Greenville Independent School District is seeking a dedicated 3rd grade bilingual Math/Science teacher for the Carver Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities include delivering TEKS-aligned instruction, using assessments to guide instruction, and maintaining an inclusive classroom while collaborating with staff and communicating with families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Position Overview

Greenville ISD is seeking dedicated and student-focused Teachers to provide high-quality instruction that promotes academic achievement and student growth. Teachers create positive learning environments, implement district curriculum, and support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.

Primary Purpose

Plan and deliver effective instruction aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) while ensuring compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements and district policies.

Qualifications
Education / Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • ValidTexas teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level and/or content endorsement
  • Must meet allTEA certification and assignment requirements
Special Knowledge / Skills:
  • Knowledge of TEKS and effective instructional strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to use assessment data to guide instruction
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
Experience:
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • New graduates with appropriate certification are encouraged to apply

  • Participate in professional development, PLCs, and faculty meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues and campus leadership
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and TEA requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration
