Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a GIS professional to maintain and support the company's GIS system, posting and updating utility asset data, and ensuring accurate geospatial records. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office, based in Cincinnati, OH or Plainfield, IN.

The position emphasizes modeling from design drawings, reviewing maps, and QA/QC to maintain data integrity while collaborating with field personnel to resolve data issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years GIS experience.
• Experience with ESRI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the GIS system by posting, updating, and maintaining utility asset data for electric distribution.
• Review design drawings, maps, plats, redlines, and related documentation and model assets in GIS.
• Gather, analyze, and maintain geospatial data used as the utility system's system of record.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve GIS data issues and discrepancies.
• Perform QA/QC activities to ensure GIS data accuracy and completeness.
• Correct data quality errors and verify compliance with GIS business rules and standards.
• Communicate with Work Order Owners, Designers, Engineers, and Field personnel to obtain missing information.

Full-time hybrid position (3 days/week in office). Based out of either Cincinnati or Plainfield, IN.
