Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a GIS Analyst to maintain and support the company’s GIS system for electric distribution. You will review drawings and redlines, model assets in GIS, and ensure data integrity as the system of record.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years GIS experience with ESRI products; Smallworld experience and a related technical degree are preferred. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the GIS system by posting, updating, and maintaining utility asset data for electric distribution.
• Review design drawings, maps, plats, and redlines and accurately model those assets in GIS.
• Gather, analyze, and maintain geospatial data used as the utility system's system of record.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve GIS data issues and discrepancies.
• Perform QA/QC activities to ensure GIS data accuracy and completeness.
• Correct data quality errors and verify compliance with GIS business rules and standards.
• Communicate with Work Order Owners, Designers, Engineers, and Field personnel to obtain missing information.
