Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a GIS Specialist to support the Fort Bragg, NC GIS program. The role assists the Senior GIS Specialist with executing the GIS Support Program tasks at Fort Bragg and oversees data quality, SQL database management, and Portal for ArcGIS services. Excellent analytical and mapping skills are required.

The position emphasizes development of advanced GIS analyses, customized maps, and training materials to meet SDSFIE and QAPs. Strong DoD policy familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in GIS preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a GIS Specialist.
2 years’ experience app development in GIS.
2 years’ experience providing geospatial data analysis and updates using ArcGIS products.

Responsibilities

Assists in the management of onsite geospatial services ensuring tasks and deadlines are met.
Uses expert GIS knowledge to direct project activities and ensure technical requirements are met.
Provides detailed spatial and relational database analysis.
Manages the spatial database and quality checks on GIS data.
