Job summary

IDR, Inc. seeks a GIS Solution Architect to join a top client in Denver, CO (also Minneapolis or Amarillo).

This role targets a seasoned architect with GIS experience in large, distributed organizations and a proven ability to deliver integrated technology solutions. You will lead designing and delivering enterprise solutions, collaborate with stakeholders to build scalable architectures, mentor teams through the SDLC, and ensure architectural standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
• 6+ years of work experience in distributed organizations.
• 6+ years delivering GIS solutions (Smallworld and/or ESRI).
• 3+ years developing technical solutions with MEAN, LAMP, or .NET.
• 3+ years SQL Server experience with RDMS such as Oracle or MSQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Position Overview for the GIS Solution Architect:

Requirements for the GIS SolutionArchitect:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of work experience, preferably in a nationally or globally distributed organization
• 6+ years of work experience delivering GIS solutions in Smallworld and/or ESRI
• 3+ years developing technical solutions with stacks such as MEAN, LAMP, or Microsoft .NET
• 3+ years SQL Server experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) such as Oracle or MSQL
