We are seeking a GIS Quality Assurance Tester.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the United States however State of Texas locations are preferred.

Your Future Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates, executes and manual test cases
• Creates and maintains test data
• Reports defects and participates in defect triage process
• Conducts functional, exploratory, accessibility, cross-browser and regression testing
• Supports user acceptance testing and conducts production verification testing as needed
• Performs and/or supports database and security testing, as needed
• Collaborates with the project team to plan and complete committed work within each sprint
• Builds strong trusting relationships within the client and CGI project team members
• Demonstrates product functionality and obtains product owner signoff on completed stories
• Coordinates with other teams to perform end-to-end testing
• Develops and maintains documentation of testing life cycle activities
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 7+ years’ experience as a manual tester performing the prescribed future duties.
• Experience testing GIS functionality Understanding of map layers, coordinates, geospatial data types Awareness of Geographic Information System (GIS) use cases (e.g., asset tracking, land records, etc..)
• Experience using ADO, Jira, or equivalent.
• Experience working in an agile scrum team.
  
  

Other Information

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $150,800.00.
