Job summary

TriTech Enterprise Systems, Inc. is seeking a GIS Programmer/Systems Analyst to support a Maryland State project. You will perform application development and support for the GIS program and assist in upgrading an Agricultural Preservation Model, migrating an ArcMap AddIn to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn.

The role follows a hybrid work schedule. Onsite work is required most weeks with up to 40% remote work. Local candidates only; U.S. citizen or green card holder required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, and ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience creating reports using SSRS and Power BI.
• Relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.

TriTech Enterprise Systems (TriTech) is seeking a "GIS Programmer/Systems Analyst" to support a Maryland State project. This candidate will:

• Perform application development and support activities supporting the Office of Information Technology’s GIS Program and the Office of Planning.
• Assist in the upgrade and development of an Agricultural Preservation Model, upgrading the current custom ArcMap AddIn (C#/Python ) to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule established in coordination with the hiring manager after onboarding, training, and issuance of equipment. The consultant may work remotely up to 2 days per week, equivalent to approximately 40% remote and 60% onsite (Fully remote or out-of-state employment is not authorized at this time.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• GIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment
• Code review, documentation, planning, and development
• Database development

Minimum Qualifications/Skill Sets:

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• Minimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDK’s, and ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python.
• Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
• Development of reports using SSRS, Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Skill Sets:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field.
• R Recent engagement with a government entity.
