Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a GIS Specialist to support engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources projects. You will help develop GIS databases, build ArcGIS Experience Builder apps, and contribute to mapping efforts that advance communities.

You will work with a collaborative GIS team, gain hands-on experience, and engage with emerging geospatial technologies. Local onsite work at OHM locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, planning or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development.
• Experience creating map products with basic cartographic principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining GIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro.
• Assist in design and development of GIS database schemas.
• Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps.
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support various project needs.
• Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public.
