Job summary

Qualifications
- Associate degree in GIS or related field and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and insurability under the County’s vehicle policy.
- Knowledge of land conveyance standards and Ohio Revised Code pertaining to transfers.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain official county tax maps and GIS spatial layers to reflect daily property changes.
- Review deeds, surveys, and instruments of conveyance for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Index, file, and archive boundary surveys, subdivision plats, and historical land records.
- Assist the public, title companies, attorneys, and other departments with questions on boundaries and descriptions.
- Produce scaled digital maps and engineered drawings using CAD and GIS software.
- Meet safety requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
