Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District in New Philadelphia, OH seeks a GIS Manager to develop and maintain MWCD GIS datasets, interpret plats and legal descriptions, and advise on the MWCD GIS Enterprise program.

You will supervise GIS staff, maintain ArcGIS Online/Portal, provide training, and collaborate with the Chief of Engineering to deliver accurate maps and data for MWCD operations.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of agency policies and GIS standards and cartographic principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Google Earth.
• Understanding of Public Land Survey System and GIS data management.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a computer workstation to update maps and datasets; develop and maintain spatial databases; transfer data between ArcGIS Pro & AutoCAD.
• Input data into MWCD Enterprise GIS; support mobile GIS applications; manage MWCD assets data for analysis.
• Maintain ArcGIS Online/Portal; create intranet distributions of asset data; train staff and respond to public requests as needed.
• Supervise GIS Specialist and GIS Intern; plan tasks, hire and evaluate performance.
• Manage staff with technical geospatial experience; develop custom GIS apps and tools to improve data quality.
• Attend meetings and training to improve knowledge; coordinate with government agencies, landowners, utilities.
• Maintain licenses and safety; ensure regular attendance.
