Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) seeks a detail-oriented administrator to manage diverse data, GIS records, and reports. You will use Maximo, ESRI GIS, and SQL-based tools to support water and asset management, ensuring data integrity and timely information delivery.

Responsibilities include front-office support, data quality checks, and collaboration with teams to improve systems and processes while maintaining compliance and efficiency in a dynamic utility environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree or administrative certification is preferred).
• Preferred experience using relational databases and data retrieval (SQL).
• Preferred experience with ESRI ArcGIS suite software, version 10.0 or higher.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Employs the Microsoft Office software suite to manage an array of operations, maintenance, and administrative data, providing valuable reports and information to other personnel.
• Provides front-office support duties such as reception desk activities, filing, administrative support, purchasing, scheduling, time-card management, and other administrative duties.
• Achieves proficiency in use of and manages information in applications such as Maximo Asset Management, ESRI GIS, and various SQL-based reporting packages.
• Performs quality control checks of GIS data to ensure data integrity.
• Reads and interprets engineering plans, plats, legal descriptions, permits, GPS data, aerial imagery, etc., to verify accuracy before GIS input.
• Suggests ways to improve information management and streamline processes; participates in team meetings.
