Job summary

Green Diamond in Underwood, WA is seeking a GIS professional to provide in‑field and data‑center support for forestry operations. You will steward GIS data, create maps, and assist with GPS data processing and property management within the Columbia Basin Management Area.

The role combines strong analytical GIS work with field activities, including property boundaries work, harvest support, and coordination with foresters, contractors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Forest Management, Natural Resource Management, GIS) or equivalent
• Strong ArcGIS skills required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in field environments

Responsibilities

• Maintain and edit GIS data and records for the Columbia Basin Management Area
• Create maps and support forestry operations using ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and internal systems
• Collect and process GPS data for property boundaries, roads, streams, and wildlife features
• Support harvest, silviculture, inventory, road, and property management activities
• Ensure safety compliance and build relationships with contractors and regulators
