Job summary

Lightcurve Internet in Yelm is seeking a Mapping & Facilities Technician to maintain accurate records of its fiber and HFC network. This role involves updating GIS mapping, field staking, and ensuring data accuracy on the ground.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in GIS or related fields, a valid driver's license, and preferably an Associate's degree in a technical field. Competitive compensation and benefits include 401K matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of GIS/mapping, OSP records, drafting, surveying, or telecom field work experience.
• Valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Experience with field staking, GPS data collection, and utility locating practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine map updates to maintain the GIS.
• Stake new build areas for proposed routes and facility locations.
• Input as-builts into the GIS mapping system.
• Verify as-builts in the field.
