Responsibilities

• Conduct large GIS data ETL operations and georeferencing.
• Develop GIS applications using REST API and ArcGIS protocols.
• Work with various mapping file formats including CAD and Google KML.

Job description

• Utilize ESRI ArcGIS (preferably ArcGIS Pro) and related add-ons for GIS development tasks.
• Apply GIS and mapping fundamentals to support project requirements.
• Perform large GIS data ETL (extract, transform, load) operations, including georeferencing tasks.
• Develop GIS applications using REST API and ArcGIS protocols/packages (such as StoryMaps).
• Work with various mapping file formats including CAD, BIM, and Google KML/KMZ.
• Execute SQL operations and perform geospatial analysis and queries.
• Demonstrate a general understanding of MTA service areas for project alignment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Use MS Office applications, including Visio, to create design diagrams and documentation.
