Job summary

PG&E’s GIS Delivery Manager will oversee day-to-day delivery of assigned workstreams within the Elevate program, coordinating internal teams, external resources, and vendor partners to scale GIS capabilities. The role is based at PG&E headquarters in Oakland, CA and is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 1–2 days per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 8 years of experience in programming/systems analysis, project management, IT/GIS delivery, or IT strategy planning.
• PMP or comparable project management certification.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS and utility GIS applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical employees and contractors across project managers, developers, engineers, and testers.
• Establish development plans, provide performance feedback, coaching, and guidance.
• Ensure staff have the resources and skills needed to support all projects.
• Develop and manage budgets, SLAs, and vendor relationships for the GIS portfolio.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other relevant field

PMP or comparable project management certification
