Job summary

Radiance Technologies, an employee-owned company in the Dayton, OH area, seeks a geospatial data scientist to analyze GEOINT data within a GIS framework and to support intelligence production. You will engage in designing, developing, and deploying dynamic geospatial apps and tools while collaborating with a team.

The role requires TS clearance eligibility, a relevant STEM degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, or other STEM field).
• Substantial familiarity with ArcGIS software.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying dynamic geospatial web applications and tools.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Strong analytical, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills.

Required Skills

• Assist in developing approaches to address key intelligence questions
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, or other STEM field)
• Substantial familiarity with ArcGIS software
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying dynamic geospatial web applications and tools
• Strong analytical, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills

Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing custom solutions using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Enterprise, with a specific focus on ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, and Survey123
• Ability to code/script, especially in Python
• Experience with data science and visualization tools
• Background in machine learning/artificial intelligence
• Experience with GEOINT data, including non-literal data
• Knowledge of remote sensing datasets
• Experience in the Intelligence Community
• Master's or Doctoral degree
