Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order, developing data integration pipelines, API services, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data.

The role requires experience with Data Lakes platforms such as Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS environments, and cloud-based databases, plus knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs and secure CI/CD deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field or 5 years of equivalent experience.
Experience delivering full-stack data visualization dashboards and APIs within ESRI ArcGIS and cloud databases.
Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
Experience optimizing large-scale geospatial and structured data queries.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data.
Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS environments.
Build scalable web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
Deploy RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data interoperability.
Manage CI/CD and containerized deployments in Kubernetes, with secure API access.
Optimize queries and indexing for large geospatial datasets.
