Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Full-Stack Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. You will develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data visualization in a secure environment.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field or 5 years equivalent, experience with Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases, plus hands-on API design with REST/GraphQL and CI/CD in Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or 5 years equivalent experience.
Experience delivering full-stack apps for data visualization, dashboards, and analytics in ESRI GIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases.
Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication mechanisms.
Experience optimizing queries for large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS data lakes.
Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search.
Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval.
Deploy full-stack apps enabling GIS visualization and dashboards.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and secure API authentication in Kubernetes.
Optimize queries and indexing for large geospatial datasets.
