Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC in Florida is seeking a Software Engineer to join the USSOUTHCOM J26 Enhanced Domain Awareness task order. You will develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for accessing geospatial and structured data.

The role requires hands-on experience with Data Lakes platforms such as Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases, plus RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in full-stack development and data engineering.
Experience building data visualization dashboards and analytics in ESRI ArcGIS environments and cloud DBs.
Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
Experience with large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
Work with Data Lakes (Databricks) and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
Build scalable web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data interoperability.
Deploy full‑stack apps enabling GIS visualization in ArcGIS and cloud DBs.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments with secure access.
Optimize queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial data.
