Job summary

City of Gresham is seeking a motivated GIS Analyst to join the Enterprise GIS Team within the Information Technology Department. The role emphasizes data management, workflow automation, and supporting staff with GIS tools while advancing the city’s geospatial strategy.

The successful candidate will develop datasets, automate routines, perform spatial analyses, and manage projects with staff and stakeholders to deliver maps, dashboards, and web maps that support city services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geography, environmental studies, computer science, GIS, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional GIS experience, Esri software, spatial analyses, and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain GIS data with QA processes.
• Develop datasets, database design, metadata, and integration.
• Automate data collection, maintenance, and analyses; support staff with GIS tools.
• Manage small to medium GIS projects with stakeholders and meetings.
