Job summary

The City of Gresham is seeking a motivated GIS Analyst to join the Enterprise GIS Team in the Information Technology Department. The role centers on data management, workflow automation, and supporting new GIS technology for city staff and the community.

You will collaborate with two GIS Analysts Seniors and a GIS Technician Senior, help advance the Geospatial Strategy, and contribute to data quality, analysis, and mapping solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional GIS experience using Esri software.
• Experience with data management, spatial analyses, and project work.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain geospatial data with quality control.
• Perform spatial analysis to support staff and community needs.
• Develop automated workflows and scripts for data processes.
• Manage small to medium GIS projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Produce maps, dashboards, and information products for decision making.
