Job summary

Insight Global is building a consulting team to support a major utility client, focusing on SQL Server-based data architectures. The role centers on ingesting ArcGIS data and preparing it for Foundry and downstream reporting.

You will design the database layer to ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability across the ecosystem. You will collaborate with data ingestion and reporting teams, optimize performance, and build resilient data pipelines for audit and inspection workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and building SQL Server database architecture.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with ArcGIS/ESRI data environments and data validation.
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data integration (SSIS, ADF, etc.).
• Familiarity with Foundry or similar data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build SQL Server database architecture to support large-scale survey and inspection data.
• Create and manage relational data models (multiple tables, relationships, joins).
• Develop solutions to ingest, structure, and validate data from ArcGIS/ESRI systems.
• Build and maintain a secondary data source to mitigate risk and ensure continuity.
• Prepare structured datasets for downstream ingestion into Foundry and reporting teams.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of the database layer.
