Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 Enhanced Domain Awareness. The role involves building data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization using Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, and cloud-based systems.

You will develop full-stack applications, manage CI/CD in Kubernetes, and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable secure data access and interoperability across data lakes and ESRI GIS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience building full-stack data visualization, dashboards, and analytics in ESRI GIS and cloud databases.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication.
• Experience optimizing queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
• Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
• Build scalable web applications with metadata-driven search and retrieval features.
• Integrate APIs for seamless data interoperability.
• Develop full-stack apps for visualization, dashboards, and analytics within ESRI GIS platforms, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments with secure API access.
• Optimize queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial datasets.
