Job summary
Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a GIS Coordinator to support large-scale energy generation and transmission projects across North America. The role focuses on data capture, real-time reporting, and delivering GIS solutions to engineers, project managers, and clients.
The candidate will work with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, build Survey123 forms, and write Python scripts to automate workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of GIS experience in an engineering or construction setting.
- Proficient with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, and familiar with Survey123/Field Maps.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain GIS data capture and tracking for projects.
- Create Survey123 forms and configure Field Maps for field data collection.
- Provide real-time reporting and QA/QC for deliverables.
- Develop Python scripts to automate workflows.
- Coordinate with clients and project management to determine data needs.
- Deliver on-site training and daily technical support.
