Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a GIS Coordinator focused on data capture and real-time reporting for large-scale energy and transmission projects in North America. This role collaborates with an in-house engineering and construction team to customize GIS solutions and ensure high-quality project deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth ArcGIS Pro/Online skill set, experience with Survey123 and Field Maps, and the ability to problem-solve GIS challenges.

Qualifications

• GIS/GISP Certification OR Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using ArcGIS in a GIS Technician role with cartography, database management, and spatial analysis.
• Proficient with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with data capture and real-time reporting for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain GIS data capture/tracking projects.
• Coordinate data capture techniques using ArcGIS Survey123 and Field Maps.
• Interact with clients and project management to determine project support needs.
• Delegate tasks to staff technicians and ensure daily quality checks.
• Write and manage Python scripts to automate workflows.
• Provide on-site training for field deployment and ongoing technical support.
• Prepare weekly activity reports to GIS Manager.
• Research updates in GIS tools to improve outputs.
