Southern Company in Georgia seeks a GIS technology leader to support Gas Insulated Switchgear projects with the Equipment Services group. You will guide design, maintenance, sparing strategy and problem resolution for customers across the Southern Company footprint.

The role demands collaboration with Transmission Planning, customers, and vendors, plus strong safety, communication, and leadership skills to deliver technical solutions and ensure project success.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, guide, and direct GIS and circuit breaker projects for customers across Southern Company.
• Support design activities, specifications, design reviews, factory audits, witness testing.
• Serve as a technical resource for project scoping and feasibility.
• Coordinate with supply chain, Equipment Services, vendors, and customers to meet requirements.
• Prioritize safety and quality in all project activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET)

Professional Engineer License

Knowledge of GIS and GIS technologies
