Job summary

Paycom is seeking a GIS Analyst at White Sands Missile Range, NM to provide GIS analysis, application development, and system administration in support of test mission planning and Army geospatial standards.

Responsibilities include data acquisition, mission planning, geodatabase management, and ArcGIS/ArcPad capabilities development, coordinating with ATEC and federal agencies to keep data current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 / T3R) required.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop (Basic and Advanced), 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, and ArcPad.

Responsibilities

• Provide GIS services including data acquisition, mission planning, data organization, and processing.
• Create and update geodatabase objects, migrate data to usable formats, and produce and print maps.
• Provide GPS and database support and oversight of plotters and supplies.
• Build and operate a GIS geodatabase and field collection system compliant with SDSFIE standards.
• Develop and support ArcGIS, ArcPad, and Transect Recording Unit applet capabilities.
• Coordinate with ATEC personnel and Federal agencies to keep data layers current and respond to data calls.

Job Details: Job Location: White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002, Position Type: Full Time, Position Title: GIS Analyst (WSMR) Location: White Sands Missile Range, NM Clearance required: Secret (Tier 3 / T3R investigation); interim Secret required before starting work. Scope of Work: Provides Geographic Information System analysis, application development, and system administration at White Sands Missile Range in support of test mission planning and Army geospatial data standards.
