Job summary

ESG Global Ltd is seeking a GIS Specialist to effectively utilize Python scripts, ArcGIS tools, and data products to create maps, digitize polygons, ensure quality control, and support client needs. You will collaborate within the Data Products Team to enhance Whitestar data products and deliver reliable GIS solutions.

You will engage with customers, manage data schemas, and troubleshoot workflows while maintaining high attention to detail and strong teamwork across the organization.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a GIS role or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/GIS/Geography required.

Responsibilities

Member of Data Products Team along with Product Manager and GIS Technicians.
Data Products: Maintenance, Enhancement and Quality Control for Whitestar core data products.
Customer Service: Process, delivery and tech support for subscription-based products.
Monitor LiveChat communication and redirect inquiries.
Define or expand Whitestar data product schemas and translations.
Troubleshoot and enhance data preparation workflows.
Lead customer demos and discussions around Whitestar products and services.
Teach and train technical staff as needed.
