Job summary

City of Minneapolis is seeking a GIS Analyst for the Parking and Traffic Division to advance curbside management tools and data sharing across departments. The role leads GIS data provisioning, enterprise data stewardship, and cross-department collaboration to modernize how curb data is collected, stored, visualized, and shared.

Grant-funded through December 2028 with potential extension; on-site work required and ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Enterprise) will be used to build a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Computer Science, Cartography, Geography or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible GIS experience.
• Experience applying GIS to support decision making and public policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide GIS spatial data provision for the enterprise, including QA/QC.
• Build and manage a curb inventory using ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Enterprise per CDS/MDS.
• Design and oversee the GIS technical environment (ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS/ArcGIS Desktop).
• Support an enterprise data model and data stewardship.
• Coordinate with city departments and third-party vendors.
