Job summary

DSA seeks a qualified GIS Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support NAS Jacksonville operations. You will maintain and update GIS data in enterprise systems, coordinate with the RPAO, and create standardized geospatial products and maps.

Responsibilities include quality control, applying cartographic standards, and integrating GPS data. A Geology/Earth Science/GIS degree and CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain) are required/desired.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• GIS experience with ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Desktop (10.x).
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience in a versioned GIS environment.
• Creating and managing spatial data from multiple sources.
• Field data collection using GPS.
• Integrating GPS data into GIS systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, GIS, or related field.
• CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update GIS data within the Navy SE Enterprise Spatial Database Engine (SDE).
• Coordinate with the Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO) to reconcile discrepancies and support audit readiness.
• Create, update, and manage standardized geospatial products, including: Symbology layers, Map templates, regional and installation-level maps.
• Perform quality control throughout the map production lifecycle.
• Apply cartographic standards and best practices.
• Support stakeholder requests and incorporate user feedback into GIS products.

DSA is seeking qualified GIS Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support operations at NAS Jacksonville. This role supports critical Navy geospatial infrastructure and requires strong technical expertise in ESRI platforms and enterprise GIS environments.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience:

Desired Qualifications

• GIS Professional (GISP) certification

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$75,000 — $85,000 USD
