Cherokee Federal is seeking a Geospatial Analyst in Alaska to deliver GIS services across DoD and civil engineering contexts. The role emphasizes data management, spatial analysis, system integration, scripting, and troubleshooting within ArcGIS environments.
The ideal candidate has hands-on ArcGIS experience, strong geodatabase knowledge, and the ability to work across desktop, web, and server platforms. A secret clearance is required or active; HS diploma with degree preferred.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
The Geospatial Analyst is responsible for delivering geospatial services and technical expertise in support of a range of GIS operations. This includes GIS data management, spatial analysis, system integration, scripting, and technical troubleshooting across desktop, web, database, and server environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Esri software, a strong understanding of geodatabase structures, and familiarity with enterprise geospatial workflows in a DoD or civil engineering context.
Estimated Starting Salary Range for the Geospatial Analyst: Pay commensurate with experience.
