Job summary

Champaign Unit 4 Schools is seeking a Girls Wrestling Head Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This differential position requires IHSA-regulated certification or IL license, deep sport knowledge, and the ability to mentor student-athletes.

You will build positive relationships, communicate effectively with students and staff, and work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to support practices and competitions. The role is at multiple high school locations within the district.

Qualifications

• Coaching certification as regulated by IHSA or IL Professional Educator License
• Strong knowledge of the sport and ability to teach and develop student-athletes
• Ability to build relationships and serve as a positive role model for students

Compensation

• This is a Differential position. The differential pay scale can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers, which is available on our website. Coacheswith 5+ years of experience are compensated at a higher rate than those with more limited experience. Employment as acoachis on an at-will basis.
