Job summary

SDJA is seeking a Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach in San Diego, CA for the winter season. The coach will develop skills, implement practice plans, and guide the team while ensuring safety and fostering communication with parents and school staff.

Responsibilities include creating plans, developing routines, and motivating players, with emphasis on safety and teamwork during practices and games.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience coaching at the club, middle, high school or college level.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and encourage team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Coach – Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach
Winter Season
Job Summary:
The Coach will be responsible for, or assist with, coaching and developing the skills of the team. The
coach will be expected to create and implement practice plans, develop game strategies, and provide
guidance and support to the cheer team members. The coach will also be responsible for ensuring the
safety of the players during practices and games and other duties as assigned by the Athletic
Director.
