Responsibilities

Fosters good school-community relations by keeping the community aware of and responsive to the athletic program.
Ensures health and safety of student athletes; follows safety and first aid procedures; verifies physicals before participation.
Promotes and maintains positive relationships with parents and student athletes; conducts parent meetings before the season begins.
Ensures program compliance with school, District, SC High School League, and conference rules; communicates policies to team members.
Ensures appropriate behavior of coaching staff, players, and team personnel at all times.
Promotes the sports program by sponsoring fundraisers, youth camps, and team camps.
