Responsibilities

Fosters good school-community relations by keeping the community aware of and responsive to the athletic program.
Responsibility for the health and safety of student athletes; follow safety and first aid procedures; verify physical exams.
Promotes and maintains positive relationships with parents and student athletes; conduct parent meetings before the season.
Ensures program compliance with school/district rules and governing bodies; communicate policies and requirements to the team.
Oversees coaching staff, players and team personnel; ensures appropriate behavior at all times.
Attends coaches' meetings and rules clinics; promote the program through fundraisers and camps.
