Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools is seeking a committed Junior Varsity Girls Indoor Track & Field coach for the Cambridge High School program. You will report to the Head Coach, coordinate practice times, assist with equipment upkeep, and ensure athlete safety in all settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, plus relevant coaching experience and current CPR/First Aid certification. Expect a part-time, seasonal position with stipend; duties include clinics and outreach to support

Qualifications

Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required.
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
Current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification required.
Online Concussion Education Certification required.
Online Implicit Bias Education Certification required.
Fulfillment of MIAA Coaches Education Requirements and state requirements.

Responsibilities

Schedule practice sessions and file schedule with Head Coach.
Assist in issue, security and upkeep of equipment.
Maintain safety and security of athletes during practices, games, and in locker rooms.
Keep records as requested; participate in clinics to enhance coaching knowledge.
Identify college scholarship opportunities for athletes; communicate with college coaches.
