Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools Athletics in Cambridge, MA seeks a Girls Flag Football Sport Aide to support varsity and junior varsity teams. You will coach, monitor attendance and academics, assist with tryouts, and scout opponents under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Varsity Coach.

This part-time role runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; compensation is a flat rate of $1,040 for the season, with payments issued mid-season and at season end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required.
• Current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification, Online Concussion Education Certification.
• Fulfillment of MIAA Coaches Education Requirements, and state requirements.
• Completion of CORI Form and fingerprinting background check is a must.

Responsibilities

• Coaching varsity and junior varsity teams under supervision.
• Monitor attendance and academics of students involved in the program.
• Assist with tryouts for the teams.
• Scout opponents for the Varsity team.
