Qualifications

• CT Certification 600: Interscholastic/Intramural Coach eligibility required.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Solid knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate student-athletes.
• Commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all levels of the Girls' Basketball program and foster positive team culture.
• Plan and conduct practices with a focus on skill development.
• Develop game plans and in-game decision making.
• Mentor student-athletes and assist with college recruitment.
• Manage equipment, budget, travel, and program records.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and athletic regulations.
• Engage community and lead fundraising efforts.
• Develop feeder program relationships for long-term growth.
• Organize and coach summer league participation.
• Implement off-season strength, conditioning, and skill development programs.
