Job summary

Centerville-Abington Community Schools is seeking a dedicated Assistant Coach for the Centerville Senior High School Girls Basketball program. The ideal candidate will support the Head Coach with practices, games, and team activities, while helping develop student-athletes’ basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character.

Qualifying candidates should have prior basketball coaching experience and be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration.

Qualifications

• Previous basketball coaching experience preferred.
• Assist the Head Coach with practices, games, and team activities.
• Help develop student-athletes' basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character.
• Support a positive and competitive team environment.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, staff, and administration.
• Follow CACS, IHSAA, and athletic department policies and procedures.
• Complete all required background checks and employment requirements.
