Job summary

Quincy High School is seeking an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to support the Head Coach in developing players and managing a competitive program. The role involves planning practices, teaching fundamentals, and supervising student-athletes with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities include enforcing athletic policies, monitoring academics, and ensuring safety protocols, including concussion procedures and district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain before season.
• Completion of required WIAA coaching education and concussion training before season start.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in leading and managing the interscholastic athletic program.
• Provide instruction in sport-specific skills and team strategies.
• Organize practices and oversee student-athlete supervision and safety.
• Promote sportsmanship and character development within the team.
• Ensure compliance with concussion protocols, eligibility standards, and district policies.
