Qualifications

• State teaching certification or substitute credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience coaching at high school or collegiate level preferred.
• Mandatory clearances: background check, fingerprints and medical clearance.
• CPR/AED/First Aid, NFHS Coaching, Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest certifications required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in planning, executing, and evaluating daily practice sessions for Varsity and JV.
• Provide targeted instruction on core skills: dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork, defense.
• Support implementation of offensive/defensive concepts to ensure program consistency.
• Analyze game film and scouting reports for game preparation.
• Serve as primary coach for Junior Varsity games; assist on Varsity bench.
• Maintain supervision of student-athletes and enforce safety policies.
