North Plainfield School District seeks a Girls' Middle School Head Basketball Coach to lead a comprehensive program emphasizing skill development, tactical instruction, and team conditioning. You will oversee daily practices, organize game-day coaching, and mentor student-athletes while upholding district policies and sportsmanship standards.

The role requires state teaching credentials, clearances, and NFHS CPR/First Aid certifications, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred to support

Qualifications

• Must hold valid teaching credential or substitute credential.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Must have clearances including criminal history check and fingerprints.
• CPR/AED/First Aid and NFHS coaching certifications required or willing to obtain prior to start date.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and evaluate daily practice sessions.
• Provide targeted, individual and small-group instruction focusing on core skills.
• Support implementation of offensive and defensive concepts for program consistency.
• Serve as primary Middle School Girls' Basketball coach, manage bench, playing time, and in-game adjustments.
