Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport and coaching roles within a K-12 setting.
• Recent coaching experience preferred with K-12 athletes.
• Current First Aid and CPR card or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational abilities and leadership qualities.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a vision for the program emphasizing character development and positive experiences for all athletes.
• Recruit student athletes from the school for team participation.
• Lead practices focusing on proper technique and game readiness.
• Attend and supervise games and execute game strategy.
• Participate in annual Coaches’ Institute training.
• Model sportsmanship and cooperate with school staff and families.
• Manage equipment, uniforms, and inventory; monitor safety compliance.
