Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport and ability to coach K-12 athletes.
• Recent coaching experience, preferably with K-12 athletes.
• Current First Aid and CPR card, or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a vision for the program that supports character development and a positive experience for all athletes.
• Recruit student athletes for participation at the coach’s school.
• Lead practices focusing on proper technique and sport mechanics.
• Attend and supervise games and execute game strategy.
• Participate in Coaches’ Institute training in August.
• Model sportsmanship and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Organize, supervise, and evaluate practice sessions.
