Job summary

ACA Group is seeking a Consultant, APS to assist in periodic verifications of investment management firms’ adherence to the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). The role involves analyzing performance data, preparing verification reports, and supporting internal initiatives across client engagements.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in investment management or financial services, with strong GIPS knowledge and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment management, accounting, or financial services.
• Solid working knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and the investment management industry.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply guidance to determine applicability of GIPS standards in client frameworks.
• Communicate with clients and alert team members to situations needing support.
• Analyze composite membership, assets under management, and accounting data; recalculate performance statistics per GIPS.
• Document procedures and challenges from engagements.
• Prepare verification, performance examination, and findings reports; provide recommendations.
• Stay updated on GIPS changes and participate in continuing education; travel as needed.
