Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a team-oriented Sales Associate to deliver a personalized customer experience, help customers select products, and promote the Scheels Visa Card.

You will maintain product knowledge across selling areas, meet sales goals, manage inventory using internal reports, keep backstock organized, and ensure price tagging and signage are accurate; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and guiding them through the sale and promoting Scheels Visa Card.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas and lead product knowledge training for other associates.
• Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports.
• Maintain an organized backstock while ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor.
• Ensure products are accurately displayed to customers through price tagging, sales stickers, and signage.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Communicate professionally with other associates within the store, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales Representatives.
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standards.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand currency, measurements, and percentages.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:

Starting at $17.00/HR

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
