Job summary

Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block in Tucson, AZ seeks a Gifts Officer to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals supporting the museum’s mission. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, you will manage an active donor portfolio and develop a pipeline of new donors to advance philanthropic goals.

The role requires collaboration across departments, timely donor acknowledgments, and planning fundraising events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2–4 years of donor management or public-facing fundraising experience.
• Proven success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors.
• Strong customer service and organization skills; flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors.
• Manage an active portfolio with emphasis on gifts up to $5,000.
• Build a pipeline of new donors through relationship-building and outreach.
• Coordinate donor communications, visits, and donor reports.
• Collaborate across departments to align donor engagement and messaging.
