Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Gifted and Talented Student Services Affective Needs Liaison to collaborate with district staff and schools. You will drive assessment and affective programming for gifted and twice-exceptional students through an integrated continuum of services.

Competenze

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or similar field is required.
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) license required.
• CDE School Psychologist (Ages Birth-21) endorsement required.
• Five (5) years of professional work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Special Education laws and processes.
• Knowledge of gifted identification criteria and processes.
• Ability to administer and interpret formal and informal diagnostic assessments.

• Collaborate with building staff and administrators to positively impact student achievement.
• Assist with assessment, identification, and programming for gifted, talented, and twice-exceptional learners.
• Support training for teachers on social emotional instructional practices for gifted learners.
• Attend assessment planning and evaluation meetings (Special Education, 504, acceleration).
• Provide coaching and training on assessment, intervention, and strategies for gifted students.
• Lead department and district initiatives with best practices and stakeholder communication.
• Support enrichment programs like Inside Out, Destination Imagination, Chess Club, and Spelling Bee.
• Participate in Early Access processes and monitoring of Advanced Learning Plans.
• Assist with district Acceleration and Challenge School admissions processes.
