Calvert County Public Schools in Huntingtown, MD seek a PPMS Gifted & Talented Education Liaison to collaborate with the Coordinator of Advanced Learning and Plum Point Middle School staff. You will analyze student data, coordinate enrichment activities, communicate with parents and administrators, and help plan district-wide events to support high-ability learners.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Calvert County Public Schools employee in good standing.
• Meet Maryland State Certification requirements or hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated skill in online and face-to-face learning and diverse instructional strategies.
• Ability to differentiate to meet diverse learners’ needs.

Responsabilités

• Communicate regularly with the leadership team to keep gifted services aligned with district initiatives.
• Chair the gifted and talented services school committee.
• Attend local trainings and district sessions.
• Coordinate enrichment activities with the Coordinator of Advanced Learning and school principal.
• Analyze test data and prepare parent notification notices.
• Monitor student progress through course calendars and statistics; provide support as needed.
